Can transcode be made to write such a header when transcoding to divx or xvid? I'm playing with the DVD transcoder and trying to do a high quality extract from a 720x576 which is in 16:9 aspect. I would like to encode *without resizing* to a 720x576 mpeg4 file and have it play back correctly in mplayer.

Any pointers as to how to go about this? It's not too obvious from the transcode docs?

Thanks
