[mythtv-users] Help with sound!

I have an SB Live Value!, using OSS drivers. (ALSA won't work for some
reason and I can't find the right settings for anything with ALSA) I can
use mplayer to watch videos in and out of MythTV. Sound is fine, although I
have to turn the volume up on the PCM channel to hear it. XMMS plays ogg
files fine.

"cat wavefile.wav > /dev/dsp" produces noise.

dd bs=8k count=4 < /dev/dsp(X)>sample.au
cat sample.au >/dev/dsp(X) produces noise

I am using btaudio, and when I start watching Live TV I get the raw feed
from the cable so audio is behind video.

I don't even know what questions to ask. I'm really stuck. From the output
below, I should be using mixer0 as the mixer? Should I be using digital or
analog from btaudio?
