But first, make sure you've configured your VBI device & VBI standard (NTSC
CC or PAL Teletext) in the backend setup program.  You should have subtitles
available not only in LiveTV, but in all future recordings as well.  Be
warned that your CPU will take a little bit of a hit to do this; if you're
riding on the edge already you'll notice (might have to crank down your
encoding parameters), but if you've got a little power to spare you'll be
fine.
