[mythtv-users] xScanDisplacement

Hi all,

I seem to have the same problem discussed in this thread:
   http://www.gossamer-threads.com/perl/mailarc/gforum.cgi?post=70854

That is, while I have used fbset to make the Myth interface nicely
fill the screen, when I watch live TV or do any playback, I have a strip
on the right, perhaps 15% of my horizontal display, that is black.

And neither the Overscan or Scan Displacement settings seem to affect
this in the appropriate way. Adjusting the overscan seems to only
affect the scaling within the existing window.

I'm using a G400, with the MGA driver in fb mode; this is 0.11 on a Debian
box, with a cheap bttv tuner. (And everything else works brilliantly, afaict,
insert redudant heaps of praise here <g>).

I'm hoping that there is something stupid that I've overlooked that
will clean this up. I'd be happy to try to kick in some Real Work,
if that would help.

I'm dreading the pronouncement that the mga xv driver is as foobared as the Via one...

Thanks,

Jeremy
