Works fine for me. I typically work with bitrate=6mBits,
maxbitrate=16mBits. The default is 8/16, but I can't tell any
quality difference between the two. You can basically do
bitrate / 2 to figure out how many gigs it will take per hour, so right
now I'm at around 3 gigs /hour.
If the xbox hard drive does much else, I do get skips. So, no compiling
in the background or anything. I'm running gentoox.
