With the Dish tuner, it is possible to follow a sequence with the remote
which will change the default audio selection to another language. As far as
I can tell for us, this only makes a difference with Spanish. All other
world languages seem to be very much like English.

Switching that audio track works for a lot of Disney programming and HBO and
Cinemax movies, and my wife likes that.

But anyway, what would you think about being able to select an alternate
language per program? If a different language were preset for that
recording, it could run the external command for selecting that language
immediately before starting to record, and then send the external command
for switching back to the default language once the recording is done.

If it's not that specific, then each recording could have the option for
"custom command before" and "custom command after."
