Maybe I'm alone in my thinking, but text entry using a cell phone is a lot harder than just using the arrows and the enter key to select the letters that you want.  

Of course each page would need to be modified to use this new text entry widget, but I would be glad to write this addition.  I'm looking for things that I feel are missing that I can work on.  I just don't want to do something that isn't going to be used.
