[mythtv-users] Pundit TV-out quality

Well, in my experience, if I turn off software de-interlacing I get
interlaced "tearing" in the TV picture. From what others have said, the SIS
hardware de-interlaces the signal in hardware, making it necessary to use
the software option. This doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me either...
How would a "de-interlace" option fix a problem going to a interlaced
display?

Paul
