[mythtv-users] newbie - can't get it to work (mdk 9.1, pvr250, nxtvepg), no channel (switzerland)

Thank you for your response!

1. My 'lspci -v' output is:

00:0e.0 Multimedia video controller: Internext Compression Inc iTVC15
MPEG-2 Encoder (rev 01)
Subsystem: Hauppauge computer works Inc.: Unknown device 4001
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 32, IRQ 5
        Memory at e4000000 (32-bit, prefetchable) [size=64M]
Capabilities: [44] Power Management version 2

This does show that the driver is correctly installed, not?

2./3./4. I created mythconverg database and created a video source
(Tuner 0) but the 'mythfilldatabase'
doesn't fill the database. I read the 'tv_grab_de' is broken (I used
this altough I live in CH, no better choice).
I doesn't work on my system (mdk 9.1). The error:

Can't locate XMLTV/Version.pm in @INC (@INC contains:
/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0

That's why i tried nxtvepg (NexTView EPG). But that doesn't work too. It
complains that it can't
open either /dev/video0 (sometimes, altough mythtv doesn't run) or
/dev/vbi0 (if it can open /dev/video0,
then it can't this one).

Is anyone using a PVR250 with Mandrake 9.1 and NexTView EPG?
