The point is is XvMC is implemented in the hardware of the GeForece4 
440MX Series of cards, it has nothing to do with the capabilities of 
XFree86 beyond the fact that the binary drivers that nVidia has chosen 
to release are for XFree86 and these said drivers allow XFree86 to make 
use of the XvMC feature of the line of cards and hence why MythTV has 
support for XvMC.
