Check.  I was using default, then I tried using the nvagp, and I got 
much further along.  But then I started getting the bogus message about 
not enough bandwidth for the different screens.  Was going to try to 
disable the bandwidth checking but figured I would ask here before I 
pull my hair out more.

What would disabling APIC in the bios do?  Heck, what does the APIC control?
