[mythtv-users] Geforce 4 mx: Worth buying one?

Is there a huge difference in video quality between Geforce 4 MX with XvMC and other video cards without XvMC? I'm getting jerky video and I've tried a lot of different things.. I've got a p3 system with 256MB RAM and a PVR 250.. mythfrontend is only taking 30-40% of CPU. I don't need TV out. Has anyone had great results with the Geforce and XvMC?
