Hello all,

I recently purchased two Mercury TV Tuner cards for my MythTV box that
I'm building.
The cards come with FM radio capability onboard, as well as an IR
remote. The card has a headphone style connector at the back that an IR
receiver plugs into to receive the remote signals.
I am trying to install lirc to get the remote to work, but am having
trouble identifying the IR receiver.
The box points me to http://www.kobian.com and from there I can get to
http://www.kobian.com/products.php?productid=97 .

To further help you help me identify the card, here are some chips on
the card itself:
- SAA7130HL (The main chip)
- HEF4052BT (A mux/demux)
- MDT2005ES (8-bit microcontroller)
  http://www.g-alantic.com.tw/pdf/2005.pdf
The IR receiver seems to attach to pin 1 (PA2) of the controller.
- ATMELS02/24C02N

I imagine the MDT microcontroller is controlling the IR functions, but I
cannot tell how it connects to the system.
That is, how would I find out where it operates (/dev/*)?
The card itself is at /dev/video0, and another identical card is at
/dev/video1.

Thanks so much for your help!

Michael
