[mythtv-users] sound help

I'm running Redhat9 with ALSA 0.9.0 a Win-TV-GO tuner
and a SoundBlaster Live 5.1 Gamer and Mythtv .12. I
have the Win-Tv output plugged into the mic input on
my sound card. That is the only input port I could
find. The other 2 were a digital out and some other
type of output. I'm having two problems, The first one
is when I record a tv show I can hear the recoding of
the show. Is this normal? The other problem is when
the show is done recording it keeps /dev/dsp open. I'v
been thought the how-two and have it setup like it
recommends. I at wits end any help would be
appreciated
