[mythtv-users] programming conflicts and multiple tuners

If I have 2 tuners and 3 programs schedules for, say, 9:00pm, the
conflict resolution screen shows the first in the list on tuner 1, the
second one on tuner 2 and the third one on tuner 1.

Only the shows on the same tuner (the first and third in the listing)
are shown to be in conflict, when in fact it's all 3 that are in
contention for that timeslot. Only 2 of 3 can be recorded, but the
option isn't presented that way, it's given as a choice of 1 of 2, not 2
of 3.

What if I want to record the first and third show, and skip the second
one? I don't see a way to do this. I'm forced to record my lowest
priority choice simply because it was the only show assigned to that tuner.

I tried changing rankings, but it had no effect on tuner selection or
this problem.

Is there a method for dealing with this problem I missed, or are we
still in the future on this one? ;)
