[mythtv-users] Learning Remote

I use the same remote with a Chicony wireless keyboard. No problem
sending the signal as long as I don't hold down the key for too long.
Press the button once fairly quickly and the remote should detect.
Don't wait for the remote to respond. If it doesn't, let it time out
and try again(you should hold it at leas a foot away). The problem
with using a wireless keyboard for IR is that is almost impossible to
get key repeat to work due to the timing necessary. You'll probably
have to be happy with having a delay and a single key press, or having
it do key presses per physical key down. I recommend using lirc if you
can, but if not it should be adequate.
