[mythtv-users] Simple Question About TV Out Quality

I have read dozens of posts comparing the quality of various cards.  One
thing that escapes me is if quality, in general, is always at least as good
as a standard TV using basic cable.  Yes, I realize that different TVs have
different quality; I'm just looking to know what I can expect in general.
I'd rather not plop down hundreds of dollars only to be disappointed that I
have to live with reduced picture quality for increased functionality.
