Heh, save yourself the hassle and get a different remote. I fought with the 
mouseremote for months and did get it working, it was just too much hassle. 
Get a Packard Bell remote or ATI Remote Wonder and you'll be much happier.

I have both, just haven't gotten around to setting up the ATI unit yet.
