Ok, I just realized that my question was really stupid. I'll use a xbox
as a frontend and a linux box somewhere else with a tv tuner and a big
harddisk.

But, can I use my MS Xbox remote controler? Is there any good advice on
what kind of tv tuner card to buy? Not too expensive, of course...
