[mythtv-users] Serial ATA and Gentoo

At home I have an ASUS P4S8X with a Promise SATA RAID controller onboard
and at first the drivers were only available in binary format from
Promise so I had to make an initrd image to make the system boot off the
SATA HD. Promise released the source code for the SATA controller but
since it's not integrated into the kernel I still have to use the initrd
image but at least I don't have to force the modules to load against a
different version of the kernel.
