I get the same thing. Did a make distclean and still got it. Anyone have
any ideas? I'd definitely like to start using it since I'm using the
pcHDTV and it doesn't do so hot with just my piddly XP 2000+ CPU. Thanks
in advance anyone who knows.

I'll probably look at it tonight if we don't get any word Harry.

Subject: [mythtv-users] MythTV compile problem w/ XvMC support

I really want to thank all the people who have put so much time and
effort
into MythTV and produced such a great project! (really, I mean it)
Especially Isaac!! Now I continue, hat in hand...

I just d/l'ed CVS for the first time since 0.11 and tried to enable some
of
the new features (lirc support, XvMC support) and got the following
error:

<snip>
g++ -c -pipe -Wall -W -O3 -march=pentiumpro -fomit-frame-pointer
-D_REENTRANT  -D_GNU_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64
-DPREFIX=\"/usr/local\"
-DMMX -DQT_NO_DEBUG -DQT_THREAD_SUPPORT -I/usr/lib/qt3/mkspecs/default
-I.
-I../../libs -I../../libs/libmyth -I/usr/local/include
-I/usr/lib/qt3/include -o main.o main.cpp
g++  -o mythprogfind main.o   -L/usr/lib/qt3/lib -L/usr/X11R6/lib
-L../../libs/libmyth -L../../libs/libmythtv -L../../libs/libavcodec
-L../../libs/libvbitext -L../../libs/libavformat -lmythtv -lavformat
-lavcodec -lvbitext -lmyth-0.12 -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lXinerama -lXv -lX11
-lXext -lXxf86vm -lfreetype -llirc_client -lXvMCNVIDIA -lXvMC -lmp3lame
-lqt-mt -lXext -lX11 -lm -lpthread
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXvMCNVIDIA.so: undefined reference to
`XvGetPortAttribute'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [mythprogfind] Error 1

make[1]: *** [sub-mythprogfind] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/mythtv-cvs/mythtv/programs'
make: *** [sub-programs] Error 2

The only reference I can find in the archive to XvGetPortAttribute is
from
12/2002 and it recommends doing a 'make clean' prior to compile. Since
my
CVS load was new and not a refresh, I assume that is not the problem in
my
case. Can someone make a suggestion how to proceed? TIA!
