Looking at keys.txt would tell you:

EPG
---
<snip>
- I or Space or Enter will bring up more information about a show, and allow
  you to schedule a recording.
<snip>
- Pressing M when on a channel will change to that channel.
- Pressing ESC or C exits without changing the channel.


There's  a patch on the dev list that changes this into chaning channel on Space
and  Enter, and bringing up the "More info" on i. (more logical to me, i have it
that way).
