[mythtv-users] myth on a plasma screen, via VGA output

I have the gateway 42" EDTV (not the HDTV), and use a VGA connector.  It
works mostly well.  Some resolutions, namely the native ones (856x480 or
848x480) have some series flicker issues, which might be related to the
Modeline I'm using.  

Right now I'm playing with different Modelines, but the best resolutions
I've found so far is 1280x768;  No flicker, but not true 16:9.  I'd like
to get 1068x600 since it is near perfect 16:9 and 800x600 seems to be a
good MythTV resolution (which this is just a wide version of).  However,
I've not gotten the Gateway plasma to support this mode yet.  I'm
playing with generating custom modelines to do this, but so far no luck.

I have to admit though, I'm really just killing time before I go to a
DVI based connection, cause I expect it to be much better. 

I should also mention I'm use a somewhat stock minimyth distro on a VIA
EPIA-M board.
