[mythtv-users] Change channel problems

I didnt sign my name because I didnt expect anyone would answer considering about
10% of my emails get answered.

If you would like to answer a few more questions please.

I have a non-mpeg2 card, so I have to software encode. Do I encode or transcode
with software?
Where does the trans/en-coded file reside afterwards? What is its suffix? Why is
the .old.nuv smaller than the .nuv if it is true that the .old.nuv is the full
.nuv file not the trans/encoded one? And how do I set-up which quality of
encoding a particular recording receives. Other than the default that is.
