[mythtv-users] Lirc w External STB

Hey All,
      So Ive got my new snapstream IR200L IR blaster and I want to use it
to control my Pace 4000dsl stb.  Ive been looking through the mythtv
documentation on IR blasters, and Im at the point where I cant get the
lirc_sir module to load.  Im finding the instructions very unhelpful when
things dont go as planned.
Has anyone created this setup before with success that would help me out?
I need a little tutoring.
