[mythtv-users] AVerMedia M179 cards from ebay

While I don't doubt that I will get the three cards I ordered in the
first auction, I do not believe that I will get them any time soon.

Personal correspondance that took place between myself and Grant on
Friday (21st) indicated that *all* cards from the first auction (Fri
14th) had been shipped as of end of business Friday 21st (I have that
email if anybody wants it). I know that quite a few people from this
list ordered cards; some of them ordered pretty early on in the auction
although I ordered very late in the auction. I find it difficult to
believe that every card has been shipped, but nobody on the list who
ordered one has gotten one yet, or has gotten theirs and not said so in
one of the threads. I find it even more difficult to believe that some
of the people who ordered one early in the auction would not have
received one yet if what Grant says is true. I believe he thinks he is
telling the truth, perhaps he is just being misinformed by the shipping
department. So like I said, I have no doubt that I will get my cards. I
just very much doubt that I will get them any time soon, regardless of
what Grant says. 

AVerMedia should spruce up their shipping department before they attempt
this again. Even a delay notification would have been preferable to what
happened.
