[mythtv-users] Can't get mythtv to read video from /dev/video0

This sounds like the same problem I was having.  It
started working for me after I deleted and rebuilt the
data base.  I am using the S-Video 0 input and I am
not using ALSA.  I was able to play video out of the
ring buffer so the problem was obviously not related
to the backend.
