You probably could just connect it to the TV and no monitor when your
computer is powered on, and it should default to TV out.  You won't
get overscan control, and I don't think Xv extensions for Riva128
support downscaling so you'll need to capture at less than 640x480.
It's probably worth the $20 to go grab a Geforce2.
