[mythtv-users] inexpensive frontend?

Well, it's not a myth front-end, but this is about as cheap as it gets:

For $100, it plays MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 over your network from a file 
server. It has a windows-only server app that gets installed on your PC, 
but I'm thinking that it's simply an MPEG streaming server. Perhaps 
someone has written a Linux version?
