You need two set-top-boxes.

These boxes take a digitally encoded data stream modulated
onto some carrier (depends on the sat system, or cable system) (F-connector)
and decode it to make baseband NTSC video (yellow phono jack)
and modulate that onto a broadcast channel (3 or 4) (F-connector).

The capture cards used by MythTv will only accept baseband
NTSC video or RF broadcast NTSC. They won't decode the
digital data. You need the set-top-box to do that.

The fact that the modulated digital data stream comes in on
an F-connector, and the RF NTSC goes out on an F-connector
doesn't help---the signals are completely different.
