If you dont want to build the transmitter, you can pick up this
http://store.snapstream.com/irblcapa.html
I was recommended it by someone on the list.
I ordered mine, should be in today.

Greetings Gentlemen,
I am in need of some sort of IR blaster to get MythTV to change the channel
to the source I want to record -- Currently having the problem of only
recording what is displaying on the TV.
I assume most of you are using an IR blaster in order to get MythTV to
change the channel to the program you want to record before the recording
is
scheduled to begin?
Is this an item that can be picked up at radio shack, or built with parts
from there? If so, what do I need to get?
I just do not know how to go about this, and if anyone has any
recommendations, I would be very appreciative. Thank you.
