[mythtv-users] Analogue CableCrypt support?

OK, I know I'm chancing my arm on this one, but here we go :)
The cable TV feed in our new house is analogue-only, and pretty much
everything is encrypted with CableCrypt. I really dislike the STB
decoder that the cable company provides, and would much rather run
everything from a single 'multimedia box' - it looks much neater, it
uses less power, and it means there's no messing with LIRC to control
the cable STB.
Given that there's already an open-source project at
http://sector17.tvand.net/cabletv/ to deal with this video format,
would any of the developers give it the time of day to try to integrate
with MythTV?
I'm not a C coder, but from a look through the package, the bulk of it
seems to be there simply to provide a xawtv-like application, with very
little code actually doing anything magic with the raw image data...
Cheers,
Gavin.
