Hi all --

I've been experimenting with MythTV for a few months now, using Jerod's guide as a launch point for installing MythTV.
With version 0.12, I decided to do a complete re-install, and I'm running into some weirdo issues --
After configuring ALSA as follows:

path[toplevel]=/lib/modules/`uname -r`/updates
path[toplevel]=/lib/modules/`uname -r`

alias char-major-195 nvidia

alias eth0 8139too
alias eth1 nvnet
alias usb-controller usb-ohci
alias usb-controller1 ehci-hcd
alias usb-interface usb-ohci
#alias sound-slot-0 nvaudio
alias ieee1394-controller ohci1394

#ALSA portion
alias char-major-116 snd
alias snd-card-0 snd-intel8x0
alias char-major-14 soundcore
alias sound-slot-0 snd-card-0
alias sound-service-0-0 snd-mixer-oss
alias sound-service-0-1 snd-seq-oss
alias sound-service-0-3 snd-pcm-oss
alias sound-service-0-8 snd-seq-oss
alias sound-service-0-12 snd-pcm-oss

I try and insmod the snd-intel8x0 module, and come up with a rash of unresolved symbols...
For kicks, I tried 'audigy', which returns the same problems...

# rpm -qa | grep alsa returns:

#rpm -qa | grep kernel returns
kernel-source-2.4.20-20_29.rh9.at
kernel-2.4.20-20_29.rh9.at

#uname -r
2.4.20-20_29.rh9.at

Any thoughts? I could go and download and rebuild the latest sources, but I figure that since the Jerod's howto is so widely used, someone might have a clue...

Thanks
Joel
