And surely given the fact that AVerMedia have declared their support of
Open-Source by providing the driver author with technical information,
surely it would be prudent to support AVerMedia in preference to
Hauppauge who are generally clueless even given Windows, never mind
Linux.

But yeh, they're also a lot cheaper :)
