I contacted her as well. I was told to contact Grant Woods at Avermedia
Marketing, her name is Jennifer Woods, so I imagine he's her husband. She
said she was asked by Avermedia to list the stuff. Then I got an email from
Grant Woods stating he's the marketing manager for avermedia. Checking out
the message header(not a great means of checking but a start) it looks like
this:

It all appears to check out. I emailed Mr. Woods directly to make sure the
email wasn't spoofed. Once I hear back I'll probably buy 3. They may not
work perfect yet, but it's right around the corner and I can have 3 for the
price of one retail pvr 250...


Heard back from him before I sent this. Looks legit to me thus far, use your
own discretion though. I'm buying 2.

Well I contacted the E-Bay seller because I live near the location listed
and wanted to see if I could avoid the shipping charges. A woman promptly
replied that she was just the lister and would forward me to AverMedia
marketing. She indicated that she is an independant distributor apparently
for several things including www.homemadegourmet.com. But in other words she
wouldn't sell me any of the cards directly. 

The listing says she has 500 of them and only 40 have been bid for and the
auction closes in 1 day. Thats a lot of extra cards to be stuck with....
