Current CVS will never rerecord a show that has a matching title, subtitle,
and description UNLESS you check "Record Dups" on the advanced recording
options screen.  If you have "Record Dups" checked, it will re-record as long
as you don't have a matching show still around.

I have a patch in my cvs tree that I should commit in the next day or so that
will allow a 3rd case that will allow you to re-record any show even if you
still have it in your playback list.  Search the mailing list for a better
desription of the mods I have made.  I described it in a couple emails in
the past two weeks or so.
