I use an Audio Authority 9A60, which does more or less the same thing
as the Key Digital adapter. Some claim the KD is a bit higher quality,
while the AA is #2 on the list, but the AA lists for about $100, versus
at least twice as much for the KD. I'm perfectly happy w/my AA.

I found the only rez I could get to work (with a Panasonic 47" HDTV and
a GF4MX) was 960x540p, but it still looks very nice -- worlds better
than S-Video (you can't tell much difference on standard-def TV, but
you can on movies and HD content.
