Go to ivtv.sourceforge.net, subscribe to the ivtv-devel list, go to the
archive of this list and search for the name Jens Axboe (maybe mine in
addition, to narrow things down) in the recent posts. Those threads
should give you quite a good picture about setting up the pvr350 for
mythtv.

Sorry, can't write everything over again, you'll be welcome to ask
specific questions.

You don't need to recompile AFAIK. Just look at the TV setup menus
(0.12) for the option to use the PVR350s TV-out. I would recommend
letting X be for the moment and get the TV out going for TV first, then
switch X to the PVR framebuffer for the gui.

You have to create it:

mknod /dev/video16 c 81 16
