[mythtv-users] problem watching tv - blank screen

I had a similar problem - running as root was fine but running as the mythtv
user I got a blank screen. I suspected permissions but all my video devices
were owned by root. Check the permissions on your audio devices - I changed
mine from root to mythtv and I *think* that solved the problem (my box is in
bits for another project right now so I can't check).

Give it a whirl and let us know how you get on.
