It would WORK on its side (though in my case, it happens to be the exact
height of my receiver and vcr stacked up, so it fits perfectly in my
cabinet), but the area covered by the foot is just unfinished steel full
of screw holes, etc (like the bottom of most other cases) and you'd
probably have to do something to hide it if it wasn't in a cabinet of
some sort (and the logo is tower-oriented, but that's no big deal).

the power and drive LED's are a nice blue.  Got the tv video working
last night, so it's on to my crappy tv card today (I'll eventually get a
hauppage of some kind or another, but I'm trying to save a bit of money
at the moment).  Anyway, I'll keep everyone posted, as I'm sure I'll
have troubles here and there.
