[mythtv-users] irman and mythtv

I'm having a problem figuring out where to go next with the irman and
mythtv.

I've got a Mandrake 9.1 box and have lircd, lirmand, and lircremotes
installed.

I have the irman on /dev/ttyS0 and I have managed to get it to work
according to the README.

However, I can't find any clear instructions on getting it to talk to
lircd.  Can anyone give me some guidance as to the next steps in getting
the irman to talk to lircd and thus mythtv?
