What gives is ASUS sucks. The nforce/nforce2 motherboards have support for a
tv out + dvi bracket which plugs into the agp slot and uses the onboard
video. The problem is that only one company actually decided to manufacture
these extra boards (MSI) and they are 1) almost completely unavailable, and
2) not even known to work in non-MSI mainboards.

So, basically, ASUS marketing is saying that you can add tv out/dvi support
to these boards, but in reality you can't. Personally I ended up buying a
Avermedia Averkey imicro scan converter and have been pretty happy with the
results (i have an a7n-266vm), but not as happy as i would have been had i
been able to buy a $30 add in card with tv-out and DVI.

I found it on newegg for $108.

I'm planning using an Asus A7N8X-VM with it.

Anyone have any experience with this motherboard? I'm particularly
concerned about the TV out. The specs say it has an integrated GeForce4
with TV out, but I don't see the connector on the back panel. What
gives?
