ok, I'm also having problems with sound only coming out of left
speaker. I played a wav file just to make sure my soundcard didn't
flake out, but it played from both speakers just fine. I am using
gentoo and running blackbox, have an ATI tv wonder ve, sb live value. i
don't know if it's the wonder or not, and tonight I will test to see if
the wonder is actually outputting stereo to the sound card. Is there
anything else I should look for? Could there be an issue with my bttv
driver? I believe I have the correct card/tuner selected (card=64
tuner=2), and the picture is fine. The sound coming from the left
speaker sounds... well, its hard to describe, but it sounds tinny. btw,
I've had this setup working great a few weeks ago until my hard drive
decided to die on me. Everything worked before the crash (running the
current cvs of the time it died). I used the gentoo portage to install
everything this time if that helps, and I am running the current cvs
from yesterday, early evening (EST).
