[mythtv-users] Help with error, please.

I finally got around to setting up my MythTV box to automatically load the
backend upon startup, and auto login as MythTV to run the irxevent and
mythfrontend.

All is good, except that when I log in as mythtv and try to access the TV, I
get an error stating that "something else is using /dev/dsp" whereas if I
log in as root, this is not the case.

I can only guess that this is because the mythbackend is loaded as root.

Any help on the resolution to this error would be appreciated.
