[mythtv-users] Easiest installation method far a non-guru?

1. Ask a question which prompts the gurus to chop your newbie head off,
spin it around and point it towards a post in the mail archive where its
already been answered. (most like like for the xth time, x being any
real positive integer)
2. Ask the same question but attach "I've tried everything the guide
said". Only to be answered with the response, "you obviously skipped
step X"
3. Post a NEW issue, much like step 1 relates to, except at the bottom
restate your earlier question, because you tried Step X, but didn't look
up in the mail archive how to stop it from failing there.

This pretty much sums up how a newb gets this MythTv done.

1. Buy a Tivo or ReplayTV
2. Hire someone to do it for you
3. Go to http://pvrhw.goldfish.org click on
"Install Guides" buy the exact same hardware
someone else did and follow their footsteps exactly.
