I love how you look at the error, know exactly what it means, then use that
information solely to point out that the original poster is wrong. Instead
of, say, explaining what he needs to do, or pointing him to the howto. That
would just be silly.

Based on this error, I don't see how Myth could possibly be installed and
working, unless you had a previous installation.  This error would certainly
prevent you from doing a successful 'make install', which is crucial to
being
able to then compile any of the plugins.
