I have a SoundBlaster Live running under ALSA drivers on Kernel 2.4.20.
Its very weird. When the front-end hangs, so does the back-end. I
have to kill both to restore functionality.
Here's what I get in mythbackend.log:
2003-06-21 01:31:20 adding: heracles.jajcs.net as a player 0
2003-06-21 01:31:20 adding: heracles.jajcs.net as a remote ringbuffer
Can't open video device:
open video:: No such file or directory
VIDIOCSAUDIO: Bad file descriptor
This seems to indicate that my /dev/video0 link is bad. However, if I
schedule a recording and then watch it, everything is fine.
Any ideas?
