[mythtv-users] A few questions (sound/mpeg2)

Hi all,

Mythtv is working fine with just one annoyance.  On certain channels (CH
2-15) there
is a high pitch squeal.  The rest of the channels do not have this squeal.
On my normal tv/cable CH 2-15 do not exhibit this behavior.  Has anyone else
seen this before?  I am using a PVR 250 as my capture card.

The 2nd question is if I choose the Hardware mpeg for the PVR-250, is that
mpeg2 format?  Or do I choose the MPEG4 option?  (I eventually want the
option of playing the recordings in windows or on myth)
