Well, I was running at 480x480 on the PVR and the Bt878 cards, and
I'd say that at the same res and effective bitrate (I was running
MPEG-4 at 3300) the PVR looks better (I had turned down the bitrate
from 8/16Mbps default).  Plus, I think electrically it's better
designed or something, because the resulting video looks cleaner as
well.
