I looked at what other application that are running but none have
anything to do with sound.  I still think it's pretty weird :).

What I do get is an error in my syslog.

Jun 18 18:48:51 cs kernel: saa7134[0]/audio: audio carrier scan failed,
using 5.500 MHz [last detected]
Jun 18 18:48:57 cs kernel: saa7134[0]/audio: audio carrier scan failed,
using 5.500 MHz [last detected]
Jun 18 18:50:23 cs kernel: saa7134[0]/audio: audio carrier scan failed,
using 5.500 MHz [last detected]

This is related to the driver but I can't find anything on the web.
Anyone else seen this ?
